Birth Stats
Amy was born one week late, 33 minutes after midnight on Wednesday the 27th of November,
22 hours after Nikola said "I have a pain in my stomach", and weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces.
She also caused her Mum a whole lot of pain, and her father some anxiety on the way! But it
all turned out well in the end (of the very beginning).
Stats:
- Name: Amy Jade Lewis
- Birth date: 27 Nov 2002 at 00:33
- Weight: 3.32kg, 7 pounds 5 ounces
- Height: 49cm (aka length)
- Head circumference: 35cm (and remarkably round for having just been squashed)
- Parents: Peter & Nikola Lewis
- Grandparents: Neil & Liz Lewis and Ian & Sue Bailey
- Godparents: Stephen & Tabitha Lewis
Dedication
Amy was dedicated at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church (while "on the move" at
Winthrop Baptist College) on Feb 23, 2003. All four grandparents and three
great-grandparents were in attendance, and Graham & Merle Maybury presided.
Merle was coaxed up on to the stage with a promise she would not have to
speak and then Graham asked her to pray anyway (none of us know what she said
though, although several people commented that it was lovely to have her up
there!).
Lunch was held at Ian & Sue Bailey's with about thirty people.
